Mad Doll Doctor

My office was freezing this morning so I finished painting a doll’s body on the kitchen table. This turned out to be a very bad idea. I have great lighting in my workroom, not so great in the kitchen. So while I was much warmer, I now have a dolly with a two-toned face, which I will have to repaint. I can’t stress how important good light fixtures are to the doll doctor. My favorite light has a craning neck and a good solid base so I never have to worry about it falling over and smashing an expensive doll head. I like to paint in natural light whenever possible. My office has windows all around, which is also why it is so freaking cold in the winter and hot in the summer!

I’m never satisfied am I?
