Mad Doll Doctor

Floradora is wearing her original, factory made outfit. This type of doll was usually fairly inexpensive, so the outfits often didn’t have buttons or snaps, they were sewn on instead. This doll is no exception, I had to gently cut open the stitches that kept her outfit closed. Her underclothes have also been stitched together, I feel sort of guilty, cutting them open…Teddy Roosevelt was president the last time she was naked.
