I have a lot of antiques, so I occasionally wonder how many seconds it would take a burglar to break into our home. Having six dogs, who all fancy themselves most excellent watch dogs reassures me somewhat. But I also know our doors all have old hardware and our windows are brittle, so our home is probably not even close to being burglar proof.

I’ve been checking out some websites for home security products, like Schlage. Schlage has a huge line of products, with lots of styles and sizes to fit even an old house like ours!
