Wow! Benny has a head! You remember ole Benny? Actually, he’s had a head for awhile, but now it’s attached! He also has a tongue, which is pretty important when you’re a dog. Almost as important as a head! I’ve also begun putting in some color, I laid in a very thin, watery all-over pink, which won’t really show, but it will, do you know what I mean?

I changed my mind about finishing his head before attaching it. There was no compelling reason. I just changed my mind. I do that sometimes. I’m a girl, it’s my prerogative. I haven’t put in many details yet, or highlights, at the moment I’m just laying in the background. Benny is going to be predominantly white with black and brown spots. His toenails are black.

*note: Benny hates for his toenails to be clipped because they are black and no one can tell where his toenail ends and toe begins! And Benny, being Benny, figures one good nip deserves another…unfortunately, his last owner, didn’t see it that way. Benny has nearly set a record at the animal shelter, he’s had six owners, and Benny is only a year old!
