Mad Doll Doctor

I haven’t been able to post for quite awhile. When we got back from Hermann late Sunday, we found a message on our answering machine telling us that a good friend had died. The following day we headed to Mt. Vernon to visit the family. It was gut-wrenching, our dear sweet friend was only 53 when she died of ovarian cancer. She left behind a husband and two sons. We didn’t get home until late that evening, and we were both so emotionally exhausted we went straight to bed.

Tuesday after work, I got my laundry done, my bags packed and everything laid out for the dogs. Then Wednesday we headed for Peoria for three days. We got home late Friday, unpacked, played with the dogs, then went to bed. It felt good to finally be back in my own home on my own mattress!
