My computer is getting old, there’s no denying it, all the signs are there; the slowness, the memory lapses, the dull surface and tiny dry lines…

So I recently purchased a brand new computer, a bright shiny new model with all sorts and bells and whistles my old computer doesn’t have. I could hardly wait to get it home and try it out. My enthusiasm dimmed a bit though when I realized just how much stuff I needed to move over…

No worries, hubby says, we’ll get one of those usb flash drive thingies…Great idea!

Except my computer is so old the usb flash drive thingie port is pretty much obsolete. Oh why oh why can’t companies make universal and standard parts and ports??
