Lots To Get Ready!
I went shopping with my mom today. I probably should have stayed home and cleaned my house but we haven’t been able to spend much time together since I’ve been working. We stopped by an antique place and I almost bought a teddy bear from the 1930’s. It was in pretty rough shape though, and lately I’ve been pretty pressed for time, so I passed on it. We got home about 5:00 and I hurriedly mopped up the floors where the dogs had tracked mud into the breakfast room. Six times four, that’s how many sets of paw-prints I had to mop up!
Tomorrow we leave for Hermann Missouri. We’re taking off around eight so I have to get everything done tonight. Wash my clothes, my hair, lay out all the doggie supplies so my daughter can easily find them…spend some quality time with my babies since they won’t see me again until Sunday…(sniff) I also need to get on the computer and check the area roads, hopefully none of them are under water. I hate detours, since I get lost easily and we don’t have gps tracking.
Maybe I’ll find some interesting antiques, wish me luck!
